The Trentino enjoys an ideal microclimate for growing high quality spumante grapes. The best known of these bubbly wines is the Trentodoc, produced chiefly using chardonnay grapes grown on the lime-rich soil that give life to fine and fragrant wine.

Nomi: Located in the heart of the Vallagarina, situated along Strada del Vino e dei Sapori. This small medieval hamlet is dominated by the ruins of Castel Corona. Definitely worth a visit is Palazzo Vecchio, a significant example of a fortressed aristocratic residence. Inside, visitors can tour the Renaissance period loggia and the circular tower by Pietro Busio. Also worth a visit is the parish church devoted to Santa Maria della Consolazione. Wine-growing is the chief source of the economy of the town, whose origins date back to the Bronze Age.

This is the backdrop in which PEDROTTI SPUMANTI operates, with the sole objective of achieving the highest quality. For its own production, the company employs an expert staff to carefully choose the basic ingredients: chardonnay and pinot noir grapes grown on the highest and most sun-drenched hills of Trentino vineyards. The careful selection takes place during the harvest, which is earlier than most in order to obtain the healthiest grapes with the right balance of acidity and sugar content.
