Definitely worth a visit is Palazzo Vecchio, a significant example of a fortressed aristocratic residence. Inside, visitors can tour the Renaissance period loggia and the circular tower by Pietro Busio. Also worth a visit is the parish church devoted to Santa Maria della Consolazione. Wine-growing is the chief source of the economy of the town, whose origins date back to the Bronze Age.
